Jennie Turner’s natural creativity and her commitment to excellence have ensured her continued success as an editor in the Nashville marketplace. Jennie trained on one of the first AVID editing systems in Nashville and worked for six years as the staff AVID editor at MPL (Motion Picture Laboratory).

In the early 2000's Jennie left MPL to pursue a freelance career. At this point her work shifted from

mostly music videos and commercials to television, documentaries, EPK's, corporate videos and web content. Her career has also allowed her to travel the world.

Jennie has a broad background in production - she worked at a production company doing everything from production assistant to script supervisor. This serves her well when working with clients and understanding their needs. Her work ethic and dedication show in her commitment to

not only getting the project done -but getting it done right.

Her eye for visuals and her aptitude for editing music set her apart as an editor. Her commitment to going the extra mile and her natural enthusiasm are reflected in every project. It is Jennie’s ability to offer artistic input while respecting a client's vision that makes her a valued partner in the creative process.

A native of Ohio, Jennie earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting with a minor in art.

I have worked with Jennie on several projects over the past few years, including the global Avon Voices job that took us around the world, interviewing contenders from 62 different countries.

As the segment producer, I interviewed over almost 200 girls, and then Jennie had to make quick turnaround deadlines to get the packages on the website. Not an easy feat considering there were hours and hours of footage with girls speaking in different languages. But Jennie was always up the task, willing to do whatever she needed to do to get the job done.

She's extremely creative and a great storyteller. Her bubbly personality charmed the clients and brought much-needed energy into the production office. I trust her implicitly with taking an idea in my head and helping make it come to fruition. Plus, she's fun to work with!

There are many good editors available when I need one.

There are very few great ones. Jennie Turner is one of the few.

Her instincts are spot-on 99% of the time and I never notice the other 1%. Her work ethic is impeccable and her opinions are never difficult to ascertain. I, for one, love that combination of passion and opinion. That and, most of all…she's fun to work with. Give me a long, fun day over a short, tedious one every time.

On the other hand, strike all that. If you hire her, she might not be available to me.
